Client: Luxury Watch Retailer
This luxury watch retailer's high-value customers (average order $2,500+) typically took 2-3 weeks to make a purchase decision. Safari's 7-day cookie deletion meant they were losing attribution for most conversions. Additionally, 35% of their traffic used ad-blockers, making them completely invisible to tracking pixels.
We configured a custom first-party subdomain (metrics.luxurywatches.com) and routed all tracking pixels through it. Browsers treat this as first-party data (owned by the store itself), not third-party tracking. This extends cookie lifespan to 180 days and bypasses most ad-blockers since the domain matches the main store.

Ad-blocker bypass test results - 100% data capture
We gave them their own tracking domain (like 'metrics.theirstore.com') instead of using Facebook or Google's domains. Browsers see this as the store's own property (first-party), not an outside tracker (third-party). This means cookies last 180 days instead of 7, and ad-blockers don't block it because it's not from an advertising company. Perfect for stores with long customer decision cycles.
